We recommend having a light meal one to two hours before your appointment. It’s best to avoid a heavy meal so you don’t experience sluggishness or heavy digestion during your session.
Before a session, drink at least 8 ounces of water to prepare, and then drink an addition 24 ounces of water or electrolytes after your session to re-hydrate.
You may want to wear a swimsuit, lightweight shorts, and a tank top/sports bra, or your birthday suit. We recommend loose, comfortable clothes after your session to promote feelings of ease and relaxation.
To allow your skin to receive the full benefits of infrared therapy, remove all makeup, and avoid body oils and other thick products.
Start with up to 1 minute plunge and slowly increase your plunge time up to 3-4 minutes, once your body is ready.
